Market Place, Blandford Forum, Dorset, DT11 7EB
Built in 1734 by brothers John and William Bastard, after the Great Blandford Fire, the Greyhound sits in the heart of the historic market town of Blandford Forum — a barrel-roll from the Hall & Woodhouse Brewery.
This charming coaching inn, with beautiful oak-beamed ceilings, a log fire and cosy seating areas continues to provide refreshments to locals and visitors of Blandford Forum. Regular entertainment, live music and charity fundraising events are always on offer here too. And, of course, we should mention its many awards, not least winning 2019 Charity Champion at the Business Partnerships Awards. Indeed the Greyhound is famous for its major contributions to local charities over many years, but it’s the pub’s warm atmosphere and rustic charm that keep people coming back time and time again.
