Eddie the Eagle, is set to open the Hall & Woodhaus Alpine Bar at The Olive Branch in Wimborne on December 1st at 7:30pm. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the iconic British Olympian and enjoy live music throughout the evening.

Michael Edwards, better known as “Eddie The Eagle” rose to fame during the 1988 Winter Olympics. Known for personifying the Olympic spirit and his determination to represent his country, Eddie’s story has inspired many athletes. Hall & Woodhouse’s unique Alpine Bars are designed to provide a traditional Bavarian apres-ski experience, suitably synergistic with Eddie’s winter sports fame.

When visiting the bars, guests can expect to enjoy German-inspired sweet and savoury authentic pretzels, bratwurst rolls, and Alpine Platters this festive season. A speciality drinks menu will also be available with a selection of wintry favourites such as mulled wine and traditional steins of German Helles lager.

The Hall & Woodhaus Alpine Bar, which is also in situ at The Brewery Tap in Blandford, will be open until December 31st. Booking is recommended. Opening times for the Alpine Bar are as follows:

Tuesday – Thursday: 4.30pm – 11pm

Friday: 12pm -11pm

Saturday: 12pm – midnight

Sunday: 12pm – 8pm
